TLC Pads has been in business since the Spring of 2001 and is growing in popularity.  I feel that this is because reasonable prices are a welcome and necessary thing,  good customer service has always been a priority for me, and customer satisfaction is always my #1 goal.

A little bit about me: I was a stay-home Mom, home-schooling our boys from 1993 'til 2003, when they begn to attend a local high-school and are now in college in the Midwest, competing for their college's swim-team, where they continue to make us proud.

I have taught Lamaze Childbirth classes since 1989 and enjoy that greatly. The fall of 2005 marked my return to college.  I earned my Assoc-in-Arts degree in 1983, but suspended the schooling in order to stay home to raise our babies.  My dream is to become a (paid) teacher, at last, teaching German and French and probably Mathematics.  I'll keep you posted on my progress, if the homework doesn't KILL me!

My goal in making menstrual pads is not only to offer something more natural and better-for-your-body, but to keep the pads affordable for the single-income family, as we've been that for two decades now. As a frugal person at heart, I strive to keep my prices low, yet maintain a high-quality and well-constructed item.  A "bargain" is not a bargain if you have to replace it frequently, so we pay close attention to quality.  I think you will find that the pads we make are soft, comfortable, well-made, and they work beautifully. I found cloth pads and The Keeper (or Mooncup) to be very helpful in reducing the horrid menstrual discomfort that I suffered with every cycle.

I also have added the hair-friendly accessories (found on the services page) because they were requested by some very dear friends of mine, and all of those products are items I personally have used for years and they have "stood the test of time" for me.

With our dry, dry winters in Idaho, our families' skin has been quite dry this year.  For several years I've made soap -- cold-process, with oils and sodium hydroxide, the old-fashioned way.  My family always uses that soap during the winter, because the handmade soap really helps with dryness, as it's not as harsh as store-bought soaps (which tend to be more detergent than soap).  Consequently, I've been thinking about adding homemade, handmade soaps to the lineup here, so be looking for that.  It may be a seasonal thing I offer, but I'll keep you posted on the progress!

I look forward to serving you, and thank you for visiting my site.

Very sincerely,

LisaJaney
