Here
is a collection of pre-made pads, in a variety of lovely prints
(bold fabrics on the left, pastels on the
right). TLC Two-Part Pads consist of: an outer
"envelope", and a folded flannel "insert".
The insert goes into the envelope through flaps
located on the backside of the pad, which
means the top surface of the pad is smooth,
seamless and comfy. TLC pads are the best-made pads around, and have
wrap-n-snap wings that fasten around the panties
and keep them securely in place. Normally (unless you request "unlined pads") there
is a water-resistant,
windbreaker-type nylon
layer on the back flaps of the 2-part pads to help protect your
undergarments (you cannot feel it, and it does not
"rustle" as you walk). Read
more specific info about the 2-part pad towards
the bottom of this page, or visit the FAQs.
There are several Lengths and Types of
pads available.

**New offer, for those who like to
sew simple items: If you'd like to save some money, I
now have pre-cut 2-part pads available for your
convenience. I will send you the
already-cut-out 2-part
pad-envelopes of your choice (flannel or calico),
nylon-attached (or unlined if you prefer), trimmed, pinned and ready-to-sew, along with
detailed directions. It's a simple
process, really. I even do the first one
for you so you can see clearly what to do! The price for the
Sew-It-Yourself pads is about half the retail
price of the ready-made pads. (These prices
include a pad-insert, so you won't need a serger.
The short- and long- Sew-It-Yourself pads come
with a regular-absorbency insert, and the XLongs
come with a maxi insert. If you want Maxi
inserts for the short- or long- pads, add $0.50
per pad.) All you need is a normal sewing machine and an
iron/ironing board!
You'll love saying "I made it myself!"
about your beautiful new pads, and you'll love
the savings!!!
Sew-It-Yourself 2-part pads are $2.50 (7"), $3
(9") and $4 (12" maxi) Only
the two-part pads are available for
Sew-It-Yourself-ers.

AIO
pads ** recently improved!

The AIO (All In One) pad is a very easy-to-use cotton-flannel pad: no inserts, no separate
parts to fold. AIOs are made of flannel
(calico does not work for these). Folding the pad
four different ways exposes a new, clean top-layer so you feel fresher. (this involves turning the pad over, so it is impossible to put a nylon layer in the AIO.) I've "test-driven" the AIO 9"-Maxi for
the past year, and it's a great pad: I've never
leaked through it, and I feel confident you will
enjoy it as well. Another "plus" is that it
doesn't LOOK like a pad in the laundry!
**Short AIO: 7" long by 3" wide, in 6-layer
Regular-absorbency ($5)
**Long AIO: 9" by 3", in 6-layer Reg. ($6), or 9-layer Maxi
($6.75).
**XLong AIO: 12" by 3", in the 9-layer Maxi
($7.75)
(Idea: you can add a folded flannel
"insert" behind the AIO to
increase absorbency...you can use the same-length
insert, or an Xlong one!)
**I
recently made a change to the way I make the AIOs:
I now serge the front and back edges, rather than
turning and topstitching them. This makes
the ends of the pads smoother and less bulky - a
nice improvement!

In
response to a friend's requests, I designed
a cloth pantiliner for everyday
use. They're so comfortable you'll hardly know they're there!
I construct them from two layers of soft, 100% cotton
flannel, they're an all-in-one pantiliner. They are a
fabulous alternative to plastic disposable pantiliners and I've priced them low enough to be a very
affordable and comfortable option for your daily needs.
Pantiliners
come in 6" lenths ($3), 7" ($3.50) and 9" ($4),
floral or non-floral flannel fabrics.

Although
my fabric supply is constantly changing, this is a representative sampling of
what I
have
on-hand. You can see there are some with
flowers (darker florals and lighter-colored
florals) and also non-flowered fabrics.
Flannel or calico, there are bolder/darker
prints, or whimsical/fun prints, plaids, and for
the wilder side of you I even have some animal
prints: several different colors of leopard, giraffe,
etc. (Sadly, the tie-dye fabric sold out in the first
week and I have been unable to locate any
more...but I do have other fun and funky prints
if you like things to be "wild and jazzy"...)

TLC
Original 2-Part Pads are made from soft 100% cotton fabrics, and
have two-parts:
1: A printed outer 'envelope', which has
wrap-n-snap wings to keep the pad securely in
place. The envelope holds the
second part:
2: an absorbent folded flannel insert that is removable and unfolds for laundering. (detailed laundering instructions included)
They come in three Lengths: 7" Short, 9" Long, or 12"
XLong. They also come in three absorbencies: the Lite insert folds
into 2 layers, Regular has 4 layers,
and Maxi has 8 layers. The price for each pad includes both the envelope and the
insert: one entire pad.
You may wish to order additional inserts for more
versatility (for days when you wish to use the
pad as a "regular" instead of a
"maxi"). Inserts can also be
tucked behind the AIO to make them more
absorbent. You can even adapt a Long AIO
by putting an XLong insert behind it to make it
more of a night-time pad so it will give more
coverage. Prices for additional
inserts are as follows (same price for all pad-lengths):
Lite = $1, Regular =
$1.50 and Maxi = $2
Calico fabric: I personally find calico to be a little cooler in the summer
months; I can make the
"envelope" portion of the 2-part pads from a 100%-cotton calico (like
a bed-sheet or quilting fabric) for the same
price as the flannel. Since the folded inserts
are always made of flannel, having the envelope made of calico doesn't
affect the absorbency at all. Be sure to specify "calico"
when you order if this is your preference.
Calico is only available on the two-part
pads, not AIOs nor pantiliners.
Nylon Lining: Normally, the envelope-portion
of the 2-part pad will have the nylon layer. If you do
not want the nylon layer,
be sure to specify "un-lined" when ordering.
(AIOs and pantiliners never have nylon-lining.)

**Note:
Besides cotton cloth menstrual pads for women's comfort
and budget, I now offer satin pillowcases
for a luxurious night's sleep and Turbo-Towels for
drying the
hair. See these items here.
