Here is a collection of TLC Two-part pads, in a
variety of prints (bold fabrics on the left,
pastels on the right) Note that the flaps where
you place the insert are located on the
backside of the pad, keeping the top surface
smooth and comfy.
TLC Two-Part Pads consist of: an outer "envelope",
and a folded flannel "insert". TLC pads are the
best-made pads, they are reasonably priced and
their wrap-n-snap wings keep them securely in
place. One of the nicest things about my pads is
that they don't typically twist and bunch-up in
the laundry, which I'm told happens with other
brands.
Normally (unless you specifically request "unlined
pads") there is a water-resistant,
windbreaker-nylon lining on the back flaps, to
help protect your clothing (you cannot feel it,
and it does not "rustle" as you walk). More info
located in the
FAQs
section.
Pad
Absorbencies: A Lite pad has a 2-layer
insert; Regular has a 4-layer insert; Maxi has an
8-layer insert. Since the inserts come out of the
pad and unfold for laundering, you can see that
they're completely clean, and they take less time
to dry!
Prices:
2-Part Short Pads (7"
long)
in Lite-, Regular- or Maxi- : $5.50
2-Part Long Pads (9"
long)
in Lite-, Regular- or Maxi-: $7
2-Part X-Long Maxi Pads (12"
long)
for Night-time/Post-Partum: $8
Additional
inserts: Lite (2 layers) inserts are $1 each,
Regulars (4 layers) are $2 each, and Maxis (8
layers) are $3 each.
If you
sew and are interested in saving even more money:
At the
bottom of this page I offer 2-part pads that you
may sew yourself with ease. They cost about half
the price of the pre-sewn pads, so now you can
save even more!

I
recently made a change to the way I make the AIOs:
I now serge the front and back edges, rather than
turning and topstitching them. This makes the
ends of the pads smoother and less bulky - a nice
improvement!
The AIO (All In One) pad is a very easy-to-use
cotton-flannel pad: no inserts, no separate parts
to fold. AIOs are made of flannel (calico does
not work for these, nor does the nylon lining
because you turn the pad over) Folding the pad
four different ways exposes a new, clean top-layer
so you feel fresher. I test-drove the AIO 9"-Maxi
design for a year before I offered that style
here, and it's a great pad: even though there is
no nylon liner, I never leaked through, and I know
you will enjoy it as well. Another "plus": it
doesn't LOOK like a pad in the laundry!
(Great Idea: you can add a folded
flannel "insert" behind the AIO to increase
absorbency -- use the same-length insert or a
longer one!)
Prices:
Short
(7") AIO, Regular (6 layers) is $6.00
Long (9") AIO, Regular (6-layers) is $7;
Maxi (9 layers) is $8.
X-long (12") AIO Maxi (9 layers) is $9

TLC cloth pantiliners are for everyday use.
They're so comfortable you'll hardly know they're
there! I construct them from two layers of soft,
100% cotton flannel, so they're an all-in-one
pantiliner. A fabulous alternative to plastic
disposable pantiliners, I've priced them low
enough to be an affordable and comfortable option
for your daily needs. There is no nylon lining on
the pantiliners.
Pantiliners come in 6" lengths
($3.50), 7" ($4) and 9" ($5)
(Great Idea: you can add a folded
flannel "insert" behind the pantiliner to increase
absorbency -- use the same-length insert or a
longer one!)

Although my fabric supply is constantly
changing, this is similar to what I
have
in stock. I have darker florals and
lighter-colored florals and also non-floral
fabrics.
Flannel (fuzzy) or calico (not fuzzy), is your
choice. I have bolder/darker prints, or
whimsical/fun prints, plaids, and for the wilder
side of you I even have some animal-skin
prints.

If you can sew simple items and want to save
even more, I now have 2-part SIY pads available
for your convenience. They come pre-cut, with
nylon lining attached (or unlined if you
prefer), cut-out, trimmed, pinned and
ready-to-sew. I also send detailed sewing
directions. I even sew the first one for you so
you can see clearly what to do! The price for
the Sew-It-Yourself pads is about half the price
of the ready-made pads.
The
short- and long- Sew-It-Yourself pads come with a
regular-absorbency insert (4 layers), and the XLongs
come with a maxi (8 layers) insert. If you want Maxi
inserts for the short- or long- pads, add $1 per pad.
All you need is a normal sewing machine, an iron/ironing
board, and the snaps, which you can purchase at the
store, or I can sell you Snapsource snaps (good quality,
long prong snaps) for just 50 cents per pad).
You'll enjoy saying "I made it myself!", and you'll love
the savings!!!
Prices:
SIY 2-part pads are $3.50 (7"), $4
(9") and $4.50 (12")

**Note:
Besides cotton cloth menstrual pads for women's comfort
and budget, I now offer satin pillowcases
for a luxurious night's sleep. See the
pillowcases here.
